blogging....not so much

As you all know, blogging has not been on the forefront for some time. Mostly due to a demanding job, but now that I have been away for awhile I see that I have grown away from it.

I think my template going "poof" on me was a sign! I do not have it in me anymore to blog.

I will not take it done yet, but I doubt that I will continue to try and get it back to what it once was.

I will do my best to keep in touch with all of you, especially Buddha Girl, Roxi, Blither, Fantastagirl and others....you know who you are.

move update

OUr official move date is 3/30/08!!

WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!

My house is a mess - boxes everywhere. I have stopped mopping the floors - whats the point? I move in 5 weeks. I just sweep and vacumm and when all the furniture and stuff is packed up I will scrub it the old way on my hands and knees like my mother taught me. :)

We found a house in Coppell, Tx just 20 miles from the location of the bank that hubby is transfering to. It is a central location not far from either of my 2 best friends. They are so excited, they wanted to fly out here and make a girls road trip out of it when we thought we had to drive both my car and the truck. NOW THAT SHOWS GOOD FRIENDSHIP. But we bought a trailer to haul the car and all the furniture.

It is official, I will continue work with my company and work from home!!! NOW THAT IS GOOD NEWS.

The only bad news is hubby is dealing with kidney stones AGAIN. We were in the ER all day yesterday due to the pain being so bad and not being able to keep the pain killers down.

So that is my update. Now gotta go continue the search for a new template. Anyone have sites they know of? Please send them to me.

John Madden was in Green Bay to announce a football game one weekend when he noticed a special telephone near the Packers bench. He asked QB Favre what it was used for and was told it was a hotline to God. John asked if he could use it. Favre replied, sure but i t will cost you $200. John scratched his head, then thought, what the heck, I could use some help picking games. He pulled out his wallet and paid $200. John's picks were perfect that week.

The next week, John was in Dallas when he noticed that same kind of phone on the bench. He asked what the telephone was for, and Romo told him, it's a hotline to God. If you want to use it, it will cost you $500. Recalling the previous week, John pulled out his wallet and made the call. John's picks were perfect again that week.

Last weekend, John was in San Diego , when he noticed the same kind of telephone by the Chargers bench. He asked Rivers, is that the hotline to God? Phillip said, yes, and if you want to use it, it will cost you 50 cents. John looked incredulously at Rivers and said, wait a second, I just paid $200 in Green Bay and $500 in Dallas to use the same phone to God! Why do the Chargers only charge 50 cents?

Phillip replied, because in San Diego , it's a local call...
